January 9, 20197 yr Again, all signs point to that this process is getting to be near the end game. I know nothing concrete, but it wouldn't shock me if this was down to NYY and Sox and they were trying to decide between two offers, or even running back to the Yankees to say "can you beat this?"

If the Yankees really want Machado, that is where he will end up signing. I'm not sure they want to tie up that much long term flexibility into Manny though?
