I didn’t want Hahn to go crazy like Preller did, but I would have loved getting Goodwin in case Mazara is indeed completely broken and a low tier starter that can bump Lopez out of the rotation.

I was hoping for Marte.

Kopech still here...✅ Vaughn still here...✅ Madrigal still here...✅ Dunning still here...✅ I’m good!

  • Stay strong NOT Steve

  • It probably is. That said you don't know everything.  The smartest guy in the room act is comical.

Nah, some team will give him a shot if the Sox let him go. Too much talent and still too young for à rebuilding team to pass up

Lopez will be 27 in January.

That’s fine, but he might as well have copy and pasted the same thing from this past offseason.

Alright well let's beat the Twins

Yeah, just like Fulmer, if you had some prospect pedigree, teams will give you a second or third chance.

To be fair to Lopez, he isn’t as bad as Fulmer.

I agree, there is no reason to threaten him. Unfortunately, that is where we are at today. That said, he did himself no favors by continuing to insist he was right, and taking a challenge. His reputation is ruined. That should be enough though for others, but when you are on the internet, you can be a real tough guy.

Considering his credibility just committed suicide, I'm not taking him at his word here either. Dude obviously wants attention

First thing they need to do is take the training wheels off Dunning. Give him some innings against a good team and let's see if he can start game 3 in the playoffs.

Wasn't Dunning's pitch count around 80 last game?  He's already pretty close to being on a regular pitch count.

He's throwing at 91 though. I think before TJS he was at 93-95.

He will have another new account soon enough.

Guess that means Texas and Cleveland wanted Kopech in any deals for Lynn or Clevinger.

They added a ton this off season.

Hot take: Sox finish better than the Padres, deeper in the postseason.

I'm thinking Kopech + Dunning, Stiever or Vaughn. Something with just too much from the top end of our prospects.

Lol what a take.

If Cease finally figures it out or Dunning get stretched out enough I don't think this isn't a hot take at all.

Not Ross Detwiler will be scooping everyone in the offseason.

He‘s averaging 91.7 on his fastball. He was always in that range, even before TJS.

lol, of course people are taking this WAAAAYYY to seriously.

That is actually a pretty classy move by Not Steve. Alot and I mean ALOT of "insiders" would backtrack and try to spin shit (cough... Joe Cowley... cough) but he is 100% owning up to it. I applaud the lad. And the twitter trolls threatening his life and such that I saw on replies can go to hell. I mean good lord..

Time to move on and concentrate on beating the Twins!

I could see the Indians demanding that, I wouldnt give him up to a divisional rival without a hosing either, but if that's what Texas was after they are nuts

In reality outside of pitching what else is a long term need.  Mazara is obviously not the guy.  We need a RF.  Thats really the only hole in the lineup.  One spot.  Vaughn will fill Edwins spot.  Our pen needs to get deeper.  And a front line starter never hurts.

RR will accidentally call that guy in from the bullpen one day.

no pleasing some.

Threatening twitter trolls is a sadder existence than being a twitter troll.
