I know gamethreads are typically known for being hot take central but yeesh tonight has been something else.

  • or a bottle of pills accidentally falls out of his pocket on live television

  • Struck that roiding piece of garbage out.  Nice.

Alright Renteria bashers:

Who should he have brought in today?

Gotta throw breaking balls for strikes

You could see that coming from a mile away

this bullpen has imploded

Same pitch over and over

I'm pretty sure Cave only hits against us.

We knew that was coming, with no ability to throw a slider at all.

Yup. These kids gotta learn how to grow up out here.

He wanted to keep the game close I'd imagine

A lot of decent contact off Cody there it was a matter of time

Tie game lasted 5 minutes

Leaving Heuer out to dry. I didn't mind Heuer against Cave (hitting .190 of course he beats us) but given Heuer couldn't get the offspeed over it made sense to take him out.

Why face the lefty with the open base?

Jake fucking Cave. Shades of Nick Punto.

He didn’t yesterday

FINALLY 100! Saw Heuer hit that number a few times in the minors. :)

**Now I wait for Burdi to touch it**

Burdi has already hit 100 this year

That would require actual managing

Yep. I thought bullpen was the biggest issue, not RF or SP. There just aren't many guys that I trust there

We’ve established Ricky doesn’t actually watch how his reliever looks, and rather goes with the set plan.

You must love the shrubbery jokes when Eloy goes yard, given your handle.

The bullpen has all of a sudden become a weakness!
