What does that mean?

Pitching coordinator probably

Where can we catch the presser if out of town?  Isn't it starting now?

I like Cora; not a big fan of Hinch. He'd certainly be well aligned with the direction the organization wants to go though.

Alomar has done nothing to show he's an upgrade.

Curveballs shall be purged in the minors, cutters will be learned by all.

I agree with you here, of all 3 Cora seems best fit for the job.

It’s on NBC Sports Chicago as well

RH:  Won't say anything negative about RR.  This isn't about decision making over the last few weeks.  This isn't about game 3.  Fantastic baseball man, even better person.

Following historic trends, I present to you your new White Sox Manager......Gordon Beckham!

lol, that was such a funny sequence from Hahn. “I’m not going to say a bad thing about Ricky, you won’t hear that from me. This isn’t about what happened in Game 3 of the playoffs, this isn’t about what happened down the stretch for us.”

Rick Hahn speak for "this is exactly the reason"

Still, hell no.  This would be the worst of all of the possible moves here.  I would have rather brought Ricky back.  Hell I would rather stick Hawk on the bench than Ozzie.

Maybe Hawk could be on Ozzies staff?

Definitely sounds like Hinch or Cora.

Criteria for new manager:  Won't get into specific attributes as they don't want to influence answers from candidates.  Mentions that they have been very insular with their hiring, they are looking forward to hearing outsider perspectives.  Ideally they would like experience with a championship organization recently.

Hahn just said they want a manager with recent championship level experience.

Hinch ...

In oddly related news, NOTRickRenteria has posted that he blames Steve Cishek for the firing today....and the Sox are definitely trading for Lance Lynn

"Recent October experience with a championship club" is the ideal... Hmmm.

Rich Hahn: "Our ideal candidate is someone who has recent championship experience"

Enter AJ Hinch

Hahn just said they’re looking for recent championship experience in the next manager.

Sure seems like Cora or Hinch based off his criteria

My guess is Cora.

Say bye bye to Bauer though. Oh well, was probably a pipedream anyway.
