October 12, 20205 yr I like Cora; not a big fan of Hinch. He'd certainly be well aligned with the direction the organization wants to go though. Alomar has done nothing to show he's an upgrade.

October 12, 20205 yr Author RH: Won't say anything negative about RR. This isn't about decision making over the last few weeks. This isn't about game 3. Fantastic baseball man, even better person.

This isn’t about what happened in Game 3 of the playoffs, this isn’t about what happened down the stretch for us.” Rick Hahn speak for "this is exactly the reason"

October 12, 20205 yr Author Criteria for new manager: Won't get into specific attributes as they don't want to influence answers from candidates. Mentions that they have been very insular with their hiring, they are looking forward to hearing outsider perspectives. Ideally they would like experience with a championship organization recently.
October 12, 20205 yr Hahn just said they want a manager with recent championship level experience. Hinch ...
October 12, 20205 yr In oddly related news, NOTRickRenteria has posted that he blames Steve Cishek for the firing today....and the Sox are definitely trading for Lance Lynn
