Meanwhile the same front office failed to get another pitcher when it was brutally obvious the pitching was running on fumes. Makes you wonder if some were pushing back on the idea, they would now go out and sign a good DH.

I wonder if the sodfather is higher on org chart than Hahn. It must be madenning watching people take over to pick apart something that was built. Edited December 8, 20205 yr by southsideirish71

I predicted he'd go to the Cubs but obviously that won't happen. Still, I expect him to leave.

Hate to beat a dead horse here, but I think JR will take $ savings over morale any day.

They're all as good as or better than the Sox (except the Twins given who they've lost). Adam Eaton does not make this team better than any of them.

Maybe the FO is finally willing to let go of a grudge (good thing) but more likely it probably means Hahn's deals are vetted by TLR (bad). I am right with you. Unless he is washed up it's a great move. Platoon Adam1 with Adam2 and he will get just enough rest from the everyday grind.

December 8, 20205 yr SECURE YOUR DUMPSTERS HAHN IS ON THE PROWL. Honestly tho I kinda like this move. It's a good buy low.

Including Eaton, who has no doubt been humbled since he was a mid 20s ascending player and has dealt with injury and reached the top of the mountain in Washington.

December 8, 20205 yr Never forget when someone tells you it was just one guy who didn't like Eaton: Not surprised someone like Rabbit likes Eaton, sounds like they got a lot in common. ? I kid, i kid.
December 8, 20205 yr I don't get the utter lack of power at the bottom of the order line. It appears NSC got that from here. Seriously, Eaton hit 15 homers in 2019 . He is a 12 to 15 guy. Madrigal doesn't hit homers,, but you could put either one of those guys second in the order and you have big power 3-8.
