interesting to me this is practically opening day lineup and Robert is at 2 ahead of Eaton.. I am for it, just surprised given his spring

No game yesterday, no feed today, no game tomorrow, AND late West Coast start Thursday night? That's too many consecutive hours without baseball.

This is bullshit, I need my fix.

Just no injuries today, please. Having to play an exhibition game with your ML roster 2 days before Opening Day is so unnecessary.

I think its more to get him a quick 3 ABs and pull him.

I would hope Lamb wouldn't be starting over at Collins at DH the first game

Cease strikes out the side in the first.  Really throwing strikes with the fastball, which is a good sign

I am a big fan of them starting out west and getting a west coast trip out of the way early.

Cease with 3 K's and 1 single in first.

 

Cron with a HR on an 0-2 fastball.  Cease still throwing strikes, though.

Cease gets out of the second. 21 of 28 pitches for strikes thus far with 4 K's and a solo shot.

I don't mind the home run as long as he looks poised and confident. He will allow runs but if he avoids the dreaded walks he will be a good pitcher. 

Game isn't televised, but if you want cool numbers, it's on baseball savant.

Cease fell behind everyone, but strikes out the side with a single mixed in.  Fastball command good aside from the first two pitches of the inning.  33 of 47 pitches for strikes so far.

The upside to this staff is fairly substantial. Good vibes.

Whew Cease's numbers hooooooo doggy

2 singles, one apparently a roller up the middle, 2 more K's. Cease has 9 through 4 innings.  Fastball and slider are both working.

Lamb with 2K's.  It's possible he is not the answer.

I think I know the secret to Cease being dominant...don't broadcast his starts.
