Tonight's the last late game for 5 months.

  • Look, Madrigal has been bad. But if you’re already at ‘it’s time to cut bait and bring in ROUGNED ODOR’ you need to step off the ledge.

Um. What was that he just put in his hat? I can’t be the only one that saw that

It was the pitching plan chart

I think they all have cards in their hats now that tells them signals and defenses and stuff.   Paxton was looking at his during the game

Right now I am glad the Sox gambled on Rodon over Paxton

Rodon isn't exactly durable either. Hopefully Pax is okay and Rodon can remain healthy as well.

Yeah if he was cheating he didn’t try to hide it

He's made zero effort to learn baseball and talk baseball.  He's unlistenable for a serious fan, of which I'd assume most of this board is.  Maybe casuals love him but man he makes me miss Hawk, senile old Hawk at least had real passion for the Sox.

Most Cub fans I talk baseball with love Benetti. So take that for what it's worth.

Not to be all "hehheheh sCrubs sux" but in my experiences it's pretty difficult to talk baseball with Cub fans who actually like baseball. So the fact that they like Benetti is....telling.

When a pitcher has to finish another pitcher's matchup, who gets credited with the stats (hit, walk, strikeout, etc)?

Also: the sCrubs do sux

And abridged scouting reports

Has Paxton ever had TJS?

Too bad Seattle didn't have Despaigne in the bullpen....he never liked to warm up.

That was close, good eye

Well, according to Steve: Hit would belong to pitcher that started the at bat, walk belongs to pitcher finishing the at bat.

I assume the strikeout would belong to the starting pitcher.

Edit: typo

Love to see Vaughn spitting on those pitches. This lineup needs more of that.

Good eye Vaughn!

Vaughn is a huge Mario fan....collect the Stars

Anyone else take the runline for this game?

Between him and Moncada we might have some OBP monsters.

Holy shit that was one of the worst called strikes I’ve ever seen.

Lefties are better against Paxton, let’s see how he adjusts to a worse matchup

Seems tonys lineup worked in the end. Collins facing RHP

that's clear as mud, lol

My assumption would be the pitcher finishing the at-bat
