I don't think he knows that 100 is league average for the normalized stats.  He did the same thing trying to justify Yoan's OPS+ last year.  It's like he thinks anything above 80 is decent or something.  

I don't mind Jason on hoops but he's god awful on baseball because his knowledge is a mile long and an inch deep.

And a 92 wRC+ is significantly better than his batting average looks which was his entire point.
