You could say that for every game if thats your mindset.  But if you believe in bunting this exactly when you do it.  You bunt with the bad hitters to set up the big boppers for a timely hit.  It just didnt work today.

Big boppers like Leury?

It’s obvious this team is missing Eloy and Robert.

It’s missing power, plain and simple. Outside of the bad fielding yesterday, it’s really been the main way they’ve scored of late.  Sadly like half the lineup every day has no power.  Yoan’s been great but anytime he wants to hit a homer, it would help, especially against RHP.

By saying he hasn’t been good like at all since his April hot start. But because his personality he is untouchable.

You DO realize, he is basically the 4th best hitter in the lineup, in May? Has he regressed since April? Sure, but not like others are tearing the cover off of the ball.

Yep blame tony not the “power” hitter with no hits two ks and 10 yes 10 men left on base

And this is why Yermin keeps coming up... so Tony's failings don't.  Its so freaking obvious that this is the same troll job again.

Was there any word on Kopech's injury?  Saw it happen while on a conference call - so curious on the outcome.  Really hoping it is really minor - he tripped and a bit spooked after he got up / mentally embarassed vs. any physical issue.

Nothing has been said so far.

I'm glad you said "middle of the order" instead of just blaming one player.

Because blaming just Mercedes is stupid. He hit the daylights out of a line drive that turned into a double play. The other times Moncada struck out and Abreu flailed haplessly.

Lmao yeah can you name his last extra base hit not off a position player? Eaton is going to pass him on the rbi list. Also

These two posts being next to each other is just perfect.

You just can't waste great outings from your starters like they got today. Ruiz needs to be DFA. They need another solid bat and another solid bullpen arm. They can't just wait for Robert and Jiminez to get back and hope all will be well.

At least three or four more weeks before teams start trading

No Sox fan had a bad word to say about him until Tony's blunder.  Now he is their whipping boy.  The speed of the 180 in perception was like nothing I have ever seen before.

“I don’t agree with you so you’re a troll” is a very lazy thing you keep trotting out.

For real. Everyone was so happy to see him get a burger named after him. And now that he's scuffling a bit, people are calling for him to get DFA'd. It's insane.
