On Saturday Seattle was here for the last/only time this season and calling the game meant a DH the next day. Minnesota is back in July and calling the game means they can push the DH to July when more players are back from the IL.

Divisional opponent vs non-divisional opponent that is halfway across the country. They'll do anything they can to fit those games in.

Regardless of whether Seattle was returning or not, cancelling Saturday in the morning was the responsible thing to do, or at least immediately after the flash flooding downtown, area tornados, and knowledge there would be rain and possible severe weather throughout the day.
