Little confused why since the game is supposed to be in a dome?

You can’t drive into the stadium with tropical storm winds and rain.

Injuries suck no doubt and we are far from seeing the team at it's best. But while still in first how could you not love this team and want to watch ? You had Mercedes in April. You have Vaughn making

  • The season is extraordinarily long and it's really hard to watch bad baseball, they've been playing mediocre baseball for awhile now. It's exhausting to live and die with every out of a baseball seaso

A crouch prior to the pitch that doesn’t reflect the batters actual batting position shouldn’t have any effect, but Celestino clearly assumes a lower actual batting position while Sano a higher one

Pretty sure that previous 50 pa's is of that batter.

Rodon struggling with control this inning.

He Gone

Twins looking for that slider on 3-2 and Rodon is throwing them fastballs and change ups.

Ugly lineup. Expecting a loss tonight.

We still have a not so secret weapon in the game: Carlos Rodon. So we have a good chance.

Inning Over

Carlos got away with a high slider to Kepler.

Leury hit that well, but not well enough.

We got a lot of guys on our current lineup with warning track power only.

Right, my point is a batter can change his natural stance. If he couldn’t, why would they need an average of the previous 50 PA? They could just measure once and leave at that. Therefore it may not reflect the actual strike zone of the particular at bat

Sox really need to make a deal for a lefty 2nd baseman with power. Escobar needs to happen ASAP. Mendick is really getting exposed.

How do you call that a strike

We're lucky we have 2 runs right now.

Way outside

Remember when this board was saying that Mendick could easily cover Madrigals offensive output?

Eaton REALLY setting the table, in the leadoff spot tonight!

No. I remember somebody who posts on this board saying that though

No I love that depth like him is the reason we are successful and he is untradeable. I like him but it got too hot for me.

Hahn desperately needs to make some moves to add some power

I was one of those guys. (I didn't say "easily" but I thought he could be fine and not require Hahn going out to get someone)

I was very wrong.

Idk if it's worth it.

Same.

ERA post Pitcher Inspections:

  • Lance Lynn 1.00 (9 IP)
  • Carlos Rodon 4.20 (15 IP - through 5 tonight)
  • Dylan Cease 4.76 (17 IP)
  • Lucas Giolito 5.82 (17 IP)
  • Dallas Keuchel 9.00 (9 IP)

5-4-3!  Nicely done.
