Crochet, Tepera and Bummer are not utterly "reliable" yet as to me wanting them to pitch in such a scenario. The Royals announcers were gushing about how the Sox rotation is the best in the AL. July 30, 20214 yr It also needs to be said that Rick and the FO deserve a lot of credit for not putting their feet up after the first deal with the Cubs. The odds of the White Sox and Cubs doing two separate deals for bullpen help at the deadline seems astronomically low, not to mention the Sox clearly having to beat out multiple teams for the services of Kimbrell. They saw what others teams were doing and kept pace....and deserve credit for that.
