Because the final lineup stands a good chance of being Vaughn in RF, Eloy in LF, and Sheets or something like that at DH, with Robert in CF between them, and to get there Vaughn will need RF reps in g

  • I would not count on Eloy for full time anything.

  • I hope TLR doesn't allow Keuchel to face this lineup a third time through, if it comes to that.

4 straight games where the starting pitching dominated the Sox offense

Wonder if TLR killed the amazing Seby MOJO by asking him to bunt like he did Yermin.

The bottom of this order could be playing for the Chicago Dogs.

Maybe getting our ass beat by the Cubs tomorrow will.

If they don't turn this around by next week we're gonna be in for an ugly August.

You just know Kimbrel will blow a save this weekend.

Engel/Garcia/Zavala

Over-under 0.2 runs produced?

Can that reverse jinx them into scoring?

Royals look like the better team in this series.  Out slugging the Sox.  Lack of homers is hurting the Sox lately.

That would require being ahead, and being ahead requires scoring runs.

The Tigers are gaining ground on the Indians and the Sox. It’s time to wake up.

Most of the power in this lineup is MIA. Hell they’re barely getting singles

The two games where Abreu was drilled did nothing except for the Goodwin hit.

Last 2 series we have played them. They about to win 5 of 7 with shut down starting pitching

The Royals have beat us up the last two series.

I wonder if Tigers are going to shut down Mize and Skubal

Engel, have yourself a mofuggin game, sir.

Worst game of the year forEngel.

We are 2-5 against the Royals in our last 7 games against them, mind boggling how unprepared we look against them

Reminds me of 08 when we kept playing like shit against KC down the stretch.

Tepera surely is a shot in the arm tonight.

Sox just aren’t hitting. They don’t look good against anyone at the moment.

Detroit is probably gonna overtake them this weekend.

Mize is on some sort of inning /pitch count already I believe.

Yeah this division isn’t over by any means.

I for one would have preferred to have obtained a good defensive slugging outfielder as our number one priority.  Kimbrel was a nice to have but a luxury.  We need more power at GRF where most opponents are out homering us, and is making it more difficult to comeback when we are down.

Now that I think about it, Barlow and Tepera are very similar pitchers.
