You've been pretty angry all game...guess there are points for consistency of position.

I'm really really excited to see Reynaldo Lopez pitch it is so much fun.

Because the final lineup stands a good chance of being Vaughn in RF, Eloy in LF, and Sheets or something like that at DH, with Robert in CF between them, and to get there Vaughn will need RF reps in g

  • I would not count on Eloy for full time anything.

  • I hope TLR doesn't allow Keuchel to face this lineup a third time through, if it comes to that.

This feels like 2006.

Except that team was dying in the second half after starting out 26 games over .500 at the ASB and clearly getting passed by DET and MINN behind the likes of Verlander, Santana and Liriano.

Jenks started to fall apart, and the workload on the pitchers from the previous year started to hit the rotation.

But yeah, the offense feels similar...kind of dead in the water.

Solid choice TLR

Good thing they invested so much in the bullpen

Lockdown bullpen and Lopez is in!? This team sucks balls right now.  So tired of the excuses.

Adam is the villain today even though that would have been an amazing catch lol

We're dropping a series to KC at home, and posting a 3-3 home stand.

Blech.

Outfield defense is very familiar

Lopez is BACK...............AE not his day

Engel really not having a good game.

That would have been an amazing catch. Surprised he got glove on it.

Lopez has done well since getting the callup buy why is he pitching in the 7th inning of a 1 run game?

Yeah I don't expect him to make that play, but when he fucked up as badly as he did in the first, he needs to make up for it.

Two catches that Engel barely missed and then the bad misplay earlier in the game.

Olivares yet another former Padres farmhand.

And Lopez is back to his former self again.

Great managing

If Hahn and KW seriously prioritized Kimbrel above every other guy who could realistically be moved the deadline....

yikes

It really is eerie though how the Sox botch a great scoring chance then immediately give up runs. Just crazy

What good is an all star BP if your offense doesn’t do shit? Can’t believe they were content with this offense.

Marshall wasn't available after last night

Goodwin somehow got into Engel’s body tonight.  Sox can’t expect to win games scoring just one run, particularly with our shaky outfield defense.

Bullpen well rested for that tough cub lineup.

Way, way too reliant on everyone coming back healthy and effective

First round exit playing like this

We've literally used him twice so far. Meanwhile our offense has been junk. I have no issues with getting Kimbrel, but thinking we are ok in RF and Cesar Hernandez is enough for this lineup is such an oversight.

This team is going to lose 2 of 3 to KC and will probably lose the series to the AAA Cubs.

We deserve so so so much better than this.

I'm ashamed of this team currently. Could not be more ashamed.
