Because the final lineup stands a good chance of being Vaughn in RF, Eloy in LF, and Sheets or something like that at DH, with Robert in CF between them, and to get there Vaughn will need RF reps in g

  • I would not count on Eloy for full time anything.

  • I hope TLR doesn't allow Keuchel to face this lineup a third time through, if it comes to that.

This is 2006 all over again minus a team catching fire in the division.

This offense is broken.

They have not good at all since the break.

It’s a trend no matter who is on the mound

Ironically it’s actually Dyer.

Well, it's technically a series of gravel roads in the middle of nowhere outside of Dubuque, is a better way to describe it.

At least this game is moving pretty quickly.  Of course, that guarantees innings 4-6 will take approximately 1 hr and 15 minutes.

This team has been off for a while...

Seby is sloppy.

This team will (obviously) look drastically different once Robert & Yaz are back. Eloy didn't forget how to hit, his timing will come. But he's so uncoordinated (for a baseball player) you can tell it's difficult for him getting his hitting mechanics back in sync.

Getting dominated by a 7 ERA pitcher

Again

Nice positioning with Hernandez there

We've been stuck in that range between 16-21 games over .500 for seemingly two months now...at least 6 weeks.

Just feels like they are content with holding serve and playing the season out to get to October.  Obviously the injection of Kimbrel was meant to change that narrative in the late innings, combining their three best relievers as needed (and hopefully Bummer rejoins to make it four.)

Glad to see I've missed another shitty start

Fast inning!  Time for Hernandez to show some power

Go 27-27 from here on out and they win 90 games.

Technically, because of that assbag play in CF, DK really should be rolling here with no runs allowed...scary.

Nice efficient inning there.  If not for Engels massive blunder and asswipe offense this would not be so excruciatingly painful to watch.

It's not going to happen, but I'd rather see Lopez out there for the 5th than Keuchel. Don't even get near letting him face Merrifield and Santana for a 3rd time.

Keuchel isn't good enough to overcome poor defense or mistakes from the umps. But as a twice through the order SP he's fine

He had such a quick inning just now. I was hoping he'd be near the 100 mark by the 6th, but that won't happen now.

The sad part is that Dallas actually looked pretty good in his last 2 starts, but by about the 4th inning he started getting hit around. He looks like crap today and it's the 2nd inning.

He’s been real good. The runs he gave up, the first hit was a great pitch. He walked a guy who really struck out but he didn’t get the call fro the 1B umpire, and the runs scored on a ball Engel catches 999 times out of 1000.

Good start...elevate the ball Jose and Eloy
