Pitching staff was a complete gem today. Kimbrel was a bit shaking to start his inning, but settled in. 5 hits and 17 strikeouts. Yeah, regardless of competition, that's some good shit. 

Offense still needs a kick in the ass, but they did enough with those insurance runs late in the game. 

Was at game—great atmosphere, awesome day, awesome win.  Missed game thread, but 15 pages means good day.

As much as we can criticize bullpen usage.  This offense sucking does not allow to use Kopech Kimbrel Hendricks or Bummer if losing.  Use any of them Thursday when losing and we got problems yesterday and today as we will have tomorrow.

The problem with bullpen usage is that there have been too many high leverage innings and not enough low leverage innings. The offense almost never builds big leads and allows Ruiz, Lopez, Tepera to get work in those situations and save Kopech, Kimbrel, Hendriks for the tight games.

Tokyo is 14 hours ahead of Chicago.  The flight is about 12 hours.  So you arrive in Chicago earlier in the day than when you left Tokyo!    For example there's a plane that leaves Tokyo at 5:00 pm; it gets into Chicago at 3:00 pm.

The b**** is going there.  You leave at noon and get there at 3:00 pm the next day (27 hours on the clock)

my dad went to Taiwan when i was younger.. he told me he called our house and he answered the phone....
