WHYYYYYYYYYYYY are we not running?

Goodness, yet ANOTHER GIDP.

Because we don't want our China dolls getting hurt so we have stopped playing that aspect of the game

Why did Tony give a no comment about the Vlad AB? Did he just find out that he could intentionally walk him afterward?

Why was Robert not running? This whole team just grounds into DPs

Dude is coming off a serious injury and has been grimacing this game. I know all the backseat managers know best here, but that is probably why.

La Russia’s In game managerial decision making has been pathetic.

Maybe they wanted the unintentional intentional walk there, and see if Vlad got himself out, but he's also one of the best hitters in baseball and his dad is the best bad ball hitter maybe ever, so...

It's a 3-0 count. Even if you get it to 3-1 it's still a fastball count. I don't know why you'd even take the risk. It's pretty much a lose-lose situation.

Don't blame LaRussa.  I'm sure Robert has a standing green light.  Blame Jose for absolutely abysmal execution (again).

I know the pitch count is low, but Toronto has 11 batted balls over 95 MPH tonight. That is a ton. I wouldn't have brought Lance out for the 7th.

Thank you for thinking like a manager, not a fan.

Yikes

It's never the player's fault. it's always Tony's fault.

What the hell? That was a routine pop up.

IQ through the floorboards

Defense so inept

That ball had a .100 xBA. I know Robert was shaded to right, but he's gotta take charge there.

Vaughn's inexperience and lack of range really showed there. Eloy probably catches that, but he might also bump into Robert and get hurt.

We're fine, if we need a pinch hitter late, we have some pretty great options, in Zack Collins and Jake Lamb.

I'll take Vaughn's inexperience and letting it drop over Eloy's experience, an increased likelihood of the catch, but a collision any day of the week.

keep banging this drum because you're absolutely right

Welp. What should be another Lynn win is in jeopardy due to bad offense and a dumb decision. I hope they win this game...but this dude is just getting hosed every start.

Nice job pitching around the "double".

Lynn is a fucking warrior

Without question Lynn starts game one in the playoffs.

Lynn is the betting favorite to win CY, and he has a long-term contract. Not trying to be harsh, but what difference does it make if he gets the win or one of the Sox relievers? Everyone understands how well he's been pitching.

Score for Lynn

Of course it has. Pitching to Vlad there is ridiculous

Looked like Lynn was directing one of his “fuck”s in the general direction of the outfield.
