If he's a long reliever or getting spot starts next year it's not the end of the world. He just can't be in the rotation ahead of guys that are clearly better than him.

Thank goodness Dallas has been, in his description, slowly ramping up throughout the season -- so he can be at his best in August and September. I shudder to think what his less-than-best looks like.
