This team sucks at fundamentals.  They'll be out after the first round in the playoffs.

If any of you really think the Indians are catching this team...please stop posting. Your negativity is poison and we dont want you here. Sox are winning this division by at least 8 games.

Hopefully this will be like that 2003 game where we were down 8-0 and win 14-9

Meanwhile, in "I should be the 5th starter" land...

Lemme guess, Dallas . . . the heat? The day of the week? Grandal being back? The position of the outfielders? The infielders? The Cubs fans? The Sox fans?

Whose fault is this one, Kuechel?

keep him in to eat innings. Don’t blow through the bullpen for no reason.

The bullpen would give up just as many runs with how they've been pitching lately

If Dallas is DFAd, and a team picks him up, are the Sox responsible for the remainder of his contract, PLUS the 2023 vesting Hahn handed him if he pitches 160 innings next season?

Man, I wish Arrieta was pitching for the Sox tonight.

Fixed it for ya.

Well, my night just got freed up.

Sporting that even 5.00 ERA, The 18 million dollar man.

Keuchel is the worst starter in the AL, you can't convince me otherwise

well they gave up 13 runs last game.. lets hope we got something.

this team continues to be unimpressive in the 2nd half of the season.

Hes got negative value. They have to attach a prospect to him, maybe the Cubs would take his contract off us.

He's likely motivated given he'll be a free agent.  I think the right team would take a flyer on a guy who two years ago was in the top 10 for cy young votes.

One time my softball team scored 9 runs in the top of the first and gave up 9 runs in the bottom.  So there’s that.

Tony LaRussa.

Duh.

There is a reason most of the board had Keuchel as like the tenth option in the 2019 offseason

Narrator: "There were no teams interested."

I'm just glad Keuchel is doing his part, to make sure he doesn't pitch far into this game. He is only trying to make sure he doesn't hit the innings threshold in the contract.

Sox can still outslug this team, keep the line moving.

Let's do this.

I never thought we'd see something James Shields level bad.  Here it is.

C'mon, yall. You know Keuchel has to feel just terrible.

Bless 'is heart.

Seriously, is Keuchel's contract over after this year, or does he still have another expensive year left with the Sox?

Some of these Hahn moves were eventually going to bite the team on payroll flexibility.  You’ve now got Keuchel, Kimbrel and Grandal if he can’t stay healthy.  And Moncada needs to put up at least an 825-850 ops to be worth $20-25 million, etc.

The problem with Keuchel is he's useless if he isn't starting.  I wouldn't put him in the bullpen.  I honestly think Tony has the guts not to put him on the postseason roster in the first round if he keeps pitching like this.

Another very expensive year.  Maybe I’m missing something, but is his season next year the most expensive starting season in Sox history?
