It's the second game of a doubleheader right after clinching. I expected nothing but a garbage lineup and garbage pitchers, and the garbage pitchers only giving up 3 runs (so far) is better than I expected.

6th is the new 8th in DH

Ugh I hate how catchers have to catch great throws in today's game of no contact at the plate

. That throw was amazing by Hamilton but Grandal catches it 5 feet from where the tag ends up having to be at. There's no way in hell his hand traveling 5 feet can move as fast as that thrown ball which was basically like a strike from a pitcher , right over the plate. Have to let that throw travel deeper.

Andrew Vaughn had his best at bat of the season.  Time off seemed to help him.  This is the best news out of this game.

We are missing Tepera who would have been a good choice for the 6 th.
