Andrew Vaughn is unplayable right now full time. His playoff role should be DH against lefties and pinch hitter against lefties. Engel gets RF because is bat is decent now and he has elite defense wit

Lynn averaged 93 on his fastball last start and he's well above that tonight. I think this is the best and most comfortable he's looked on the mound in quite awhile.

  • But HFA wasn’t important enough to fight for.  Fuck me!

I fixed it.

It's really too fucking bad we blew those games in August.

If Engel pulls through healthy might he replace Vaughn? The slumping rook could be sidelined for the playoffs. Maybe.

Andrew Vaughn is unplayable right now full time. His playoff role should be DH against lefties and pinch hitter against lefties. Engel gets RF because is bat is decent now and he has elite defense with good speed. Sheets should get the DH spot versus righties.

These POS Tigers hit someone it's going to be a fucking shit show trying to avoid suspensions and or injury.

Luckily the suspensions would take ace next year.

true, just don't want to see anybody get hurt in a fracas.

All this team has done is back down all year.  Let the Tigers stir up some shit if they want to.  Maybe our bunch of underachievers can benefit from a fire lit under somebody's ass prior to the playoffs.  Too bad no one will bother throwing at Cesar Hernandez or charging the mound when Kimbrel is on it.

Just don't hit Robert.

All the fire for an amazing Radiohead reference that like 3 of us got.

last time radiohead was relevant was circa 2005, so makes sense.

We punted too many games.  I think we over did the resting.  The HFA is big for the Sox with the best home record in the AL and a very mediocre away record.

I def agree. We only needed 2-3 of them to get HFA and there were half a dozen or more there for the taking.

A Moon Shaped Pool is a beautiful album, and they are still one of the best active live acts.

Agreed. Weird but excellent live.

3 is probably low, but yeah.  The first time I saw Radiohead live, they were the opening act for R.E.M.

The last time I saw them was in the late 90's. I think it was at the Riv. Might have been the double door.

Well Hou won today so 2 seed is probably out of reach.

I assume if the wild card winner beats the rays the better record gets home field in the ALCS. For that reason I think we should still try to win out.

Wild Card team can never get home field advantage regardless of record
