Again, running Vaughn in right just doesn't sit well with me - left yes. I don't doubt Vaughn's motivation or the fact that he's a BASEBALL PLAYER, it's just that there are plays presented to a RF that he just isn't equipped to handle. See reunion with Eaton, although Avi’s obviously much younger…still overlaps with Abreu, Leury, TA and Rodon, to name a few.

Good thing about Duvall besides his 38 homers last season, is that he has the highest fly ball hitting rate in MLB , over 53%. Sox needs that in our homer friendly park, and to balance our high ground / double play hitting guys.

I've always liked Avi but at this point in time I'm not sure if he's the answer in right field, if we're willing to spend, there are better options. Duvall is a 2 WAR player only because of D; and yet in the 2 prior years, he had a negative defensive WAR. Seems akin to the Eaton 7-8 WAR he throw out there once. Where was Hahn while the Braves were making all these OF acquisitions on the cheap?

November 12, 20214 yr I'd hate to trade Sheets or Vaughn but here's a solution. Avi is still young nuff and outstanding. SIgn him and trade Sheets or Vaughn or both. They are good prospects tho. I like 'em both.
