What’s stupid exactly?  Our bullpen is garbage after like four guys and desperately needed an addition, especially if we move Kimbrel.

Yet will be the 1st to lose it when the pitching breaks down.

  • The funny thing is I guarantee other team fan bases hate their bullpen and wish their GM spent money on bullpen guys like the WSox.

Just... exhausting. Hahn won't stop spending his assets on Relief pitchers. it's honestly amazing.

How many years in a row are Sox fans going to fall for this nonsense. Each of the last two years we had threads created about how unstoppable the White Sox bullpen was going to be. The best bullpen in

LA reporter says La Russa was vocal about wanting Kelly. Of course he was. Why doesn't he become the GM too?

Well he pretty much got himself hired by the owner instead of the GM, so kinda.

Keeping Kimbrel would somehow make it less desperate garbage?

I probably would of preferred Tepera, but I like the move.

I don’t really get the push back on this deal. Last few guys in Sox pen aren’t that good. We needed another guy. Tepera or Kelly - who really cares. Potato potato.

Some people will just b**** about anything.

Added more good pitching.  Excellent

I almost wonder if Vax status played in here. It would really suck to lose the guy in a playoff series against the Jays.

Well at least Kelly can play in Toronto

Signing relievers coming off career years is a bad strategy and allocation of resources.

I believe we’re already a reliever short in that case

Didn't everyone have to get vaxxed to get to camp.

Yeah isn't Graveman unvaxxed?

Minor leaguers, not 40 man players

Kimbrel is a good reliever, just sucked with us last year.

Love yourself the way Hahn loves giving relief pitchers a shitload of money every offseason.

It's not RH that loves relievers.

And that’s totally fair.  But people mad we’re wasting resources on the bullpen when the alternative is giving even more innings to Ruiz or Burr are nuts.

How would you have addressed the bullpen?  I’ll hang up and listen.

He’s made that clear. Just roll with kids. They’ll be just as good as a seasoned vet!

We somehow got a even harder throwing bullpen than last year. That's kind of impressive. Now we've got 3 guys throwing hard sinkers as well. Graveman and Kelly can both throw 97-98 on their sinker.

Maybe Kelly thinks we're going to win because its not like he didn't have options as well. Wondering what the money ends up being.

Good piece for the BP.

Now get the savage please

Nah, I haven't said that. I can give a list of guys when I get home.

That said, my strategy would never to be to buy old guys coming off career years.

Also signals they might be more willing to invest time in grooming Crochet as a spot starter/swingman this year…building up innings for 2023.
