Since there have been no complaints yet, batting Legend & Big Energy 6th & 7th ahead of Vaughn & Burger is really fucking stupid.

  • IT.WAS.ONE.GAME. Come back off the ledge, some of you. Good gracious.

Just 4 innings? What in the world

And only 61 pitches...I know it's early and there was a shortened spring but that seems low even for the 1st start of the season. Hope he's not hurt.

I hope this isn’t injury related.

It's just opening day

Pollock is there.  That's a real OF right there.

First thought was that's a base hit if Vaughn is in right

La Russa showing some balls pitching a kid in his ML debut in a tight game. Imagine Sousa's confidence though if he goes through this inning clean.

61 pitches. Jfc. I hate the way arms are managed today. You wanna keep him south of 80, fine. But 61? Give me a break.

I'd think he would have another inning in him even on a cold day.

That's going to turn out to be a real nice trade.  I like having Pollock on this team.

Sousa vs Torkelson. I wonder how many times these guys have faced off in the minors.

Pollock looking like a Gold Glover compared to Sox RF play last year.  Has adjusted a lot faster than I expected.  Just a savvy ballplayer.

And it's still spring training on the timeline of a normal baseball season  This is going to be the norm for the first month of the season.

Good location on that high fastball from Sousa.

Tired: TLR is a moron with the short hook for Giolito.

Wired: Short spring training means pitchers' arms need to be stretched out early in the season.

Inspired: Both things can be true.

I like Pollock so far, but the stirrups are such an awful look

I don't hate it against the 7-8-9 hitters in the 5th inning, our pen is a lot thinner than people think currently

Herky jerky delivery

Good inning!

200 IQ Larussa

Nice job

Sousa >>> Crochet confirmed

Great debut Sousa!
