I’ve gone twice with buddies and once with the wife for Sox games. Plus have been there two times for concerts. Every trip was awesome and pure debauchery. But you got to be in the right mindset and be prepared for some pretty sketchy areas. There are nice areas as well and the casinos are pretty cool if you’re into that thing. Overall a nice-looking park and Greektown is nearby for walking around and dining. The rest of Detroit may have some issues. They have torn down a lot of properties and urban farming has been an ongoing major project. Detroit takes a lot of heat but so many of our old cities are a mess.
