I would have had more respect for Hahn had he resigned after Reinsdorf forced him to hire La Russa! He deserves what he now has.

He would have had other baseball jobs because of largely (to that point) carrying off the rebuild pretty well through the disappointing loss to the A's in the post season.  At least he got them back to the playoffs finally, after a seemingly endless 12 years of purgatory.

  • I know this is obvious, but if we don't start getting our hitting in order, we are not going to win a damn thing this season.

This team lacks focus. Get a new manager before it's too late.

  • Let’s not act like Tony didn’t have a large role in deciding who to acquire the last two offseason.  Hahn is a disgrace though and should be fired IMO.

You La Russa haters need to stop.  The know it all (in his mind only) Bernstein on the Score and others didn't get the manager they wanted so they want to

disparage the Hall of Fame and three time winning World Series manager.

Have you been watching the games?

This White Sox lineup is 28 out of 30 teams in runs scored.

So Tony gets a back to back playoff team with a top flight offense, defense, and pitching staff, and when all of that self-destructs the manager isn't responsible for it.

This is circular enough to establish its own orbit.

I only watched the 9th inning of last nights game. I think i did this series right...

Most who post on this board don't remember.  I do.

That's not why he is disliked here.

I remember.  He is also near 80 and a shell of the man he was.  That man you remember is gone.

Don't worry folks, Steve Stone says its all gonna be fine and we're all overreacting.

We're talking about the old expression, guy that can get you from point A-B, but not to C

The Sox at no point have been a top flight offense or defense during and after the rebuild.

It was assumed the offense was going to bang with the best of the teams, but we're finding out we very overrated our talent there .

The defense was always going to struggle .

Well, TBF, things have gone just about as poorly as possible to this point and Sox are just 3 GB. So they probably in fact will be fine.

Sounds just a bit like...Ricky Renteria.

Despicable  ageism directed at Tony and cheap shots at our players is what one might expect from mindless angry fans.

Media going on about the Reds losing a no-hitter.
The Sox weren't far off the mark in losing a 2-hitter.

Ha Ha.

Steve Stone says a lot of things.

Not that old of an expression then

If Ricky was still managing, with the LaRussa achievement  with this team, he would have been fired weeks ago. Or it would be the leading topic on sports talk radio every day until he was fired. Instead, we might fire Tony’s  hitting coach.
