If not for the walks in the second, we'd have a scoreless intense game.

  • I know this is obvious, but if we don't start getting our hitting in order, we are not going to win a damn thing this season.

This team lacks focus. Get a new manager before it's too late.

  • Let’s not act like Tony didn’t have a large role in deciding who to acquire the last two offseason.  Hahn is a disgrace though and should be fired IMO.

Abreu closing in on Engel's OPS now. Elevator: Going Down!

I'm with you. These guys are pros. Do we all honestly think Menechino really tells these guys to hit the ball on the ground? They stink

Player development and coaching is a huge part of the game. Players regularly join certain organizations (Dodgers, Yankees, Rays, Giants) and get better. I think there are a lot of players on the hitting side who are clearly not the most optimized versions of themselves.

I know pitching vs hitting is different, but compare the difference of Lucas, Rodon, and Cease before and after working with Katz. Having quality coaching is a big, big deal.

This is crazy. Seems abreu and Pollock are 0-2 in a heartbeat

1000% agree. Good post

When do we start holding the hitting coach and manager accountable for this offense??!

The players that offer nothing offensively have to have a gimmick to keep them in the clubhouse’s good grace.

Must be a lot of gimmicks in the Sox clubhouse then.

There may be two mlb winners today with a total of one hit.

This team finds more ways to lose nearly every game

We need a development/coaching program for GM's.

Lopez dotting 99 on the corner like that is nasty

at least we know he's healthy

LET'S GO WHITE SOX !!!!

Just checked game.  Holy cow this offense is broken.

Frank "fuck the home run" Menachino needs to go.

Maybe it was too hot for the offense.

Has this team scored 4 runs in an inning this year?  They can barely do it in a game.

According to the Yankee announcers, the Sox will be facing Cortes again on Friday!  Better stock up on a few wins in KC!

Garcia is now below the Mendoza Line.

Engel is now officially over Abreu in OPS, now. Comical.

Finally a Launch Engle
