He has been living a charmed life on fly balls this year. Still yet to allow a HR.

This is only Kopech's 15th major league start. He's going to have innings where he completely loses it. That he came back and mowed down a very good lineup after that inning is an extremely promising sign for his future.

Cortes is dealing, but I can't help thinking that Moncada and Grandal could have helped.

Cortes has been shutting down just about everyone. I wouldn't feel too bad about not hitting him, even though this looks pathetic. 

McGuire with a .328 OPS.  Is he the worst hitter the Sox have had in recent memory?  I mean, at least Zavala could run into one occasionally.

I fckin hate Donaldson, but tht was a great play..

Of course Donaldson looks incredible while all of the veterans on the Sox are looking completely washed

I appreciate all the self love humor from the thread when we traded for him, but honestly are we really gonna run McGuire out there all year?  He is a black hole offensively and his defense seems to have fallen off quite a bit.

I know it doesn’t all fall on Menechino, but he’s gotta go. The hitting philosophy for this organization is abysmal.

The players that offer nothing offensively have to have a gimmick to keep them in the clubhouse’s good grace.
