I'd prefer Vaughn in LF, Pollock in RF with Engel mixing in regularly. Eloy and Sheets should almost never step in the OF grass so far as I'm concerned.

Should have traded Eloy last offseason, rumor had it Ng wanted him, and they had excess pitching.

Eloy will never be able to play on a regular basis, and the club doubts he will be able to hit as a DH.

  • I know this is obvious, but if we don't start getting our hitting in order, we are not going to win a damn thing this season.

This team lacks focus. Get a new manager before it's too late.

  • Let’s not act like Tony didn’t have a large role in deciding who to acquire the last two offseason.  Hahn is a disgrace though and should be fired IMO.

Kopech's velocity a bit concerning here.

Maybe a bit of dead arm.

However bad Pollock is back there, Sheets is worse.

Pollock LF + Sheets/Engel RF > Eloy / Vaughn LF + Pollock RF

Is Kopech ok? velocity is way down and his control is bad

What’s he sitting for those of us not watching?

92-93

Neither Vaughn nor Sheets should be playing the OF under any circumstances.

Someone has to do it until there's a major trade to break up the 1B/DH/"corner OF" log jam. I think Vaughn is the best of bad options but I understand why people disagree. He isn't an outfielder either.

Kopech throwing 92 in the 2nd inning is a pretty bad sign.

His body language too.

Not finishing his pitches with conviction.

Reese puts on a White Sox uniform and suddenly can't frame pitches anymore

Looks like he's lost it.

Quit nibbling Michael, and go after the guys. You have the stuff to do what you need to do. Gracious.

Could there ever be a need for TJS for someone whose already had TJS?

Oh...I missed that, if that is the case. Not good at all, no wonder he's trying to hit corners instead.

Have to get someone up.

Maybe the fact he has started in three years he's a little off and having a bad day.

Yes

I think it's normal to expect some rough outings. I don't think it necessarily means his arm is hurt. He's never thrown more than 70 ML innings.

That has happened in literally every start. Soxtalk is panicking about every fucking little thing.

Bad

I saw 95 and 96, maybe he just doesn't have it today, period.

40 pitches and he isn't out of the 2nd. This is exactly what I was afraid of today.

Edited by Jack Parkman

Kopech has no idea where the ball is going right now

Yeah, he is done for today, no control at all. Bullpen burn commence.

Not his day, gotta go with a bullpen day today.
