At least Vaughn is at 1B. He needs to play 1B more and still develop as a defender there. He is the future at 1B not Abreu.

Eloy also needs to play DH upon his return, to determine whether he can be successful at it in the future. Pollock is solid in LF, is not a RF.

  • I know this is obvious, but if we don't start getting our hitting in order, we are not going to win a damn thing this season.

This team lacks focus. Get a new manager before it's too late.

  • Let’s not act like Tony didn’t have a large role in deciding who to acquire the last two offseason.  Hahn is a disgrace though and should be fired IMO.

They still need to figure out RF. It's so annoying that they continue to ignore it.

Tim swung at ball 4

Like the patience from the Sox hitters so far.

Vaughn just missed it

If the ump is gonna give Cortes all these calls it's gonna be a long day.

That's probably a double for Robert if it's not a plus defender in RF. Everything about Judge's game is so impressive.

They don't have a RF, Sheets/Engel platoon is their best current option.

Abreu just not good right now.

He wasn't really slumping in April, he was just getting unlucky. Now he's slumping for real.

Thanks for the memories Jose.

No, Sheets is not an option in RF. You're better off having Engel out there no matter how bad he hits he's a defensive asset. Sheets should only DH/1B.

Abreu is lost at the plate. Has no concept of the zone right now, just flailing away and pitchers are letting him get himself out.

They can't really play Sheets out there. It should be Pollock and Engel

But but his batted ball profile!

Kopech has given up so many loud fly ball outs this year

Pollock makes no sense, he can give you a solid LF, he is garbage in RF.

Doesn't matter what we think, Leury will get a bunch of time out there in addition to Sheets and Engel. Perhaps the Sox will trade with the Dodgers to rescue Jake Lamb from their AAA team.

Is Kopech ok? velocity is way down and his control is bad

Should we be concerned by the velo?

Kopech's velocity a bit concerning here.

I'd prefer Vaughn in LF, Pollock in RF with Engel mixing in regularly. Eloy and Sheets should almost never step in the OF grass so far as I'm concerned.

However bad Pollock is back there, Sheets is worse.

Neither Vaughn nor Sheets should be playing the OF under any circumstances.

Hit 95 there at least…middle in that he’s lucky didn’t end up the seats tho
