So I guess the twilight years scenario of TLR vs. Dusty Baker is pretty  much settled.

  • What they really need is new ownership and then everything that trickles down because of it

You run on Benintendi every chance you get.  He made a throw earlier this year that didn't even make it to the catcher.  He has a 20 arm but somehow uncorked a good throw there.  It was a good send.

His arm isn’t good but the ball was very shallow. He had the ball way before Harrison even touched third.

Vaughn hurts his wrist and apparently lost his ability to recognize spin

Seems he’s more open at the plate than earlier in the year

Vaughn looks broken again.

Still a small sample size since returning, but this is the guy he looked like for most of 2021. Missing hittable pitches and swinging over sliders

Too many

Ever since seeing a team that actually practiced rundowns in 2012 I’ve thought that is a great test for whether your coach is on the ball or not.

Sheets facing RHP all day and looks awful as well

Just don't understand how the FO can sit back after 36 games of an offense that is truly offensive and make no moves.  Whether that is players or coaches.

How do they let this clown ? TLR run lineups out there that are constructed so poorly?

Does anyone give a fuck or we letting TLR run this into the ground because Fat boy Jerry felt like he owed him something.

Beyond frustrating

In which case he’s of little value

How to win with this cluster fuck the ol drunk put together

Who knew running a AAA line up out there wouldn't work.  Oh wait.

Who exactly would you like to be in the lineup tonight that would have produced some offense?

Wasn't TLR part of the group that ran a decent Arizona franchise into the ground?

Nicky Lopez, the number 9 hitter, has led off 6 innings today.

That was the first out he made in those cases.

People conveniently overlook how disastrous his front office stint in AZ was, but yes lol

Put KW back in charge.  At least he'll go out and get a Carl Everett for RF and a Robbie Alomar for 2B and make things interesting for a while.  And they could use a table flipping or two in that clubhouse to wake them up.

You know what the terrible thing is? Nobody in the FO will be held accountable and they're going to bring the band back together for one more year rather than extract value from the pitching staff, Anderson and Robert and start over.

I'm beginning to think the entire lineup has been exposed and they just suck.

The Kopech velocity thing is weird too.

How about the guy who’s 6-9 in his career off Singer

Nah, if this goes on I think there will be massive changes after the season.

Oh great, this thread is evolving into another "It's LaRussa's" fault BS ?

Yes

That's how literally every thread goes when the Sox lose.

I think they could still end up having the season we all dreamed of a month ago and Menechino will be canned. I *think* the Sox know they need to modernize their hitting approach, it's already started in the minors. They're just going to be several years too late like what happened with Katz replacing Coop.

Seems logical.

Gotta love the sarcasm

Glad to see that Tony's caretaker is here to make sure no one picks on the geriatric.

So Lynn gets back in early June, it’s mid May and they are a .500 ball club with a crap offense. They aren’t out of contention and could still win the division, but what kind of record do they need to pass the Twins and be more of a winning team?

I think to myself, there is still time, but it’s getting later in the season and there isn’t much improvement.

Only six bullets left to score two, but luckily we got the slap factory coming up to save the day!
