You can sense that the Sox are getting close to breaking out. They are not giving up

It strikes me as funny that for some reason Twitter thinks that the Sox line up could offend people.

Jose swinging at a fastball that just missed spiking off home plate. Way to go, Pito

Can’t get out of their own way again

Hmmm, maybe Robert should have hit 3rd instead of an ice cold Moncada ?

Good lord that atbat was an utter failure, just so bad not even close

At this point, I'm awaiting the day when Moncada posts a BA below .100.

Back to be over aggressive in situations where you have the count in your favor.  Pick a zone where you want it and if not there don't swing.

There are like 3 guys on the team who take this approach to hitting and aside from Vaughn neither Grandal or Moncada can hit anything even if you throw it in their zone. Everyone else is content to swing at anything.

Usually you're happy when your team gets the bases loaded with 1 out.

With the Sox the first thing that comes to mind is a double play ball or a strike out.  Never a walk and very few sacrifice flys.

I've defended Yoan more than anyone on here, but batting him 3rd against McClanahan is insanity. It should be Burger at 3rd & probably Yoan on the IL.

Jose let me down bad swing.

1 fucking run. WE NEVER HAVE BIG INNINGS.

Where to?

This team reminds me of a thread from the early 2000s on this website. Shit I am getting old.

Bases loaded with one out followed by two ground balls.it just seems like this happens way too often

Oh look, the man who should have hit 3rd got a hit…

Is it possible Grandal is the worst player in baseball right now? Legit question

Our guys just won’t take a walk, and are not very selective.  Don’t we have coaches to suggest different approaches when things are not working.?  Sox do not adjust.  It is the same crap every day over and over.

Where's Stone anyway? Why does someone whose job only requires him to work for six months take so much time off during those six months?

Not that I miss Stone as much as I don't care for Gordon's filling in.

someone on lookout landing wrote a great essay about how bad baseball is similar to a chronic illness in all the worst ways. luckily with bad baseball you can just turn it off.
