GT 6-4: Dodgers @ Sox (7:10pm)

Mendick always has a nice stretch every year and then ends up sucking for the rest of the year or gets sent down. His statcast numbers aren't exactly encouraging or saying that anything is different this year.

nice depth piece nothing more. that said, he's the least of our problems.

Kopech is acing dudes with his fastball right now

All you can ask for him is to be cromulent until Tim's groin gets reattached, and he's done that at least

MK rolling

The book on Kopech is make him work and let him walk guys and get frustrated and beat himself.

He is pounding the strike zone here early tonight. He needs to avoid those walks and letting himself get all worked up and lose focus.

Time for a random Gavin Sheets hot streak. Please groove him a fastball at the top of the zone

Back to normal for the offense.

The offense is still broken I see…

Thankfully!

Kopech’s fastball is nasty tonight.  Nice to see him hitting upper 90s right away.

Kopech nasty tonight

Kopech's command tonight is as good as we've ever seen it, I think

The Dodgers hitters are up there looking to walk. Keep blasting the zone Michael.

People on TBS saying the only reason the Dodgers aren't hitting Kopech's fastball, is because they can't see the ball, because of glare on the background . maybe the movement on his fastball tonight, has a little something to do with it though.

We hate pitching to 9 hole hitters.

The Sox have the pitching advantage in 2 of the 3 games. I'm optimistic for better or worse.

Sox beat the Rays 2 out of 3 in St. Pete, so we can take out the Dodgers at home.

Minor scare

Hopefully we can get 6 out of Michael tonight

our young pitchers have got to learn to be smarter and more efficient.

That dumb 2 out walk cut an inning of his start from all the pitches.

Cease does the same thing.

Gonna have to have a couple 10 pitch innings if he wants to get through 6.

Both him and Cease, the next step for them is to start getting through innings on fewer pitches so they can consistently go 6 innings.

Just crazy how this team can’t hit RHP.  Even on Sunday, the offense died once the LHP left the game.

It's still very early. Waiting for the weather to get warm.
