I wonder if something is up with Pollock or if the struggling hitters are finally starting to get dropped in the lineup/lose playing time.

But hasn't Pollock been decent the last few weeks when he actually plays?

Well in his last 9 games he has an OPS of .355...

However, in the 15 games before that his OPS was .810.

He had a 14/47 stretch in mid-May but he's followed that up by being 4 for his last 31.

You know, I'm not gonna be mad at Tony for Sheets 5th.

i'm gonna put my anger toward hahn for going with Sheets as a solution to our LH power problem.

Getting angry is the solution according to a certain HOF baseball person.

Decent by 2022 WS standards. Hopefully a couple days off will reset.

Sox are ready to play the big boys and excel on this homestand. These are the Angels right?

I have 2 Tix in 149, Row 9, 1&2. Tried to sell them past couple days but Stubhub is down for maintenance apparently??

If someone wants them i'll let them go for $40 total. (Red parking pass included)

You don't want to play a team that just changed its manager.

Tony said it's "easy to get Sheets in the lineup." Honest to god is something wrong with this asshole? Can't they send him to Charlotte so Tony has to play someone else?

Twins are already down 3-0 to the Yankees in the 1st. Tonight could be a nice opportunity to start making up some ground.

If TLR wants a LH bat in the lineup that badly, it might as well be Haseley. At least he can play a position the Sox need help at.

Except we play the Dodgers.

The Sox have the pitching advantage in 2 of the 3 games. I'm optimistic for better or worse.

This game does not appear to be blacked out on TBS, which is nice

Congrats to Stoney on 40 years in the booth!

It was a good AB considering Kopech problem's in his last start. You get him to walk the 1st better and he might revert to how he pitched in his last start. Make him prove he can throw strikes .

TIL Eddy Alvarez is in the Dodgers

The ump blowing the missed strike 3 call on Mookie added 5 pitches to Michael's pitch count...

The left handed hitting sucks but until Sheets, Moncada or Grandal start hitting the Sox will keep struggling. That's why it's easy to play him. The Sox need some left handed hitter to show they can provide some power. So those guys have to keep playing. I wouldn't be adverse to Haseley but he cannot slug .500

Thought Pollock would start against his old team.
