I think we win this.  Big Pollock game coming.     So if we go like 36-5 in our next 41 games that puts us at 62-32, 30 games over.

  • At this point you gotta just play your best players. The lefties and switch hitters have all been worthless. A platoon advantage doesn't do shit when the guys with the advantage can't get hits. In the

TLR is fucking brain dead. Shades of Ozzie's last year. edit: Just read his quote's on Andrew needing a day off after a "tough series on turf" -- dude, he just  had a day off Monday. He's 24 FFS. It's

Leury is a good utility player who is not allowed to be a good utility player because the goofy manager plays him as if he’s an Allstar, and the front office thought that Josh Harrison was the answer to second base over the offseason.

He's a below average utility player that we knew would be overexposed yet chose to retain him for three years competing against no one

Once again, thanks for fucking up everything this offseason Hahn.

I think this is on the players, man. Most of these guys were all good for years. Hahn and TLR can't do anything about 3/4 of the team forgetting how to hit a baseball.

Should be Pollock, Vaughn, Robert, Abreu, Burger batting 1 through 90% of games until Eloy & Tim are back.

I wish that when he gets the lineup right, that he would just stick with it for a few games in a row.

Vaughn and Burger are the only hitters on the Sox doing anything right now on a consistent basis. Occasionally Pollock shows signs of life.

Abreu has a 130 wRC+ and Robert has been solid.

Hes been the worst hitter in baseball. He's not a good anything

That was some loud boos for Leary as he walked to the dugout, Keuchel loud. Were the boos for Leary or the manager who has him batting lead off?

Quality start for cueto

Sox knocked in 15% of baserunners last year. This year it's at 12.5% entering tonight.

Yeah l looked up Robert and he hasn't been as bad as I thought he was. Also forgot about Abreu.

Robert hasn't had many xbh in a while though.

Dodgers announcer calling out TLR for leading off with one of his worst hitters.  That you should always lead off with one of your better hitters, as this guy gets to bat the most times in the game.   TLR is just too stubborn with his matchup and Leury obsessions.b Looks like we are punting another game with the stupid TLR lineup.

Just a mind boggling offseason for a team with championship ambitions

that's why you don't settle for Pollack and Leury and Harrison, ever. Shit happens in baseball. We saw it just with the Twins last year.

There was plenty of booing Garcia here.

I feel bad for him in a way, I also would have signed that ridiculous contract TLR, Hahn or whoever is in charge in this dysfunctional mess, offered to me.

In a system filled with potential utility guys (Yogurt, Romy, Sosa, Popeye, etc.) to boot

Pollock has been an excellent player when healthy, I will still defend that move. The other two not so much

Maybe don’t bat them leadoff?
