Didn't I JUST SAY to stop hitting the ball to third?

AAA outfielder cost us twice in the 2 nd inning.  Mendick had a beat on the ball, and don’t blame a Mendick for going after the ball after the poor Heseley play in the batter before.

The last 2 plays in that inning really show a very poorly coached defensive team.

Haselys been here a few days. Not sure that is on the coaching. He should know to call that well before he got here.

Two plays in a row where Mendick should have been more vocal as the shortstop and Haseley should have been more aware. Each bears some responsibility for both plays. So dumb.

That's the outfielder's ball.

Haseley needed to call off Mendick.

2 innings and 2 double plays. That's not gonna do boys.

This is ALL BECAUSE THEY DON'T PRIORITIZE OF DEFENSE.

I mean, depressingly, this happened between our best defensive infielder and an actual outfielder.

Romy the only guy on the 40 man roster to bring up until Eloy is back? Not good

Wasn’t he out for a while due to injury then unexcused personal absence/restricted list?

Two DP’s already.  Usually Abreu hitting and not running into one.

He's from the Philly org, so I don't think it's surprising he's not fundamentally sound on defense.

Stripling is going to RH Sinker us to death, the bane of this ballclub.

Leury instead of Anderson in.

Sigh.

Jays feast on sliders, by the way.

Banner curse in full effect.  Poor Mendick.

Leury in to hit leadoff, yay

How is it that we consistently have an uncoached group of players who has no fucking idea how to call anyone off or make routine plays?

Sox have one of the worst managed/coached/trained teams in MLB with propensity of playing AAA guys with changing lineups

You are taught to call for the ball when you start playing baseball, I don't understand why an organization has to force it in their head

So many of us have been saying a bad collision was going to happen because these idiots don’t communicate and the coaches have done nothing to fix it.

Two double plays for the Sox in 2 innings.  Time to activate the running game.

Outside of Katz, this coaching staff sucks.

Alejandro Kirk is killing us

Kirk is unstoppable

Lucas has absolutely nothing

Pudgy just continues to damage us.

Kirk 4/8 homers against Sox this year.

#3 vote getter behind Judge and Trout.

Where's our Alejandro Kirk?  This guy is really good.

Alejandro Kirk is our daddy

And he has lost Giolito recently…
