How many consecutive starts w/ out Grandal is this, 3? 

Could that be the issue. 

I mean, he's the  same guy that almost forced this team to backup the Brinks truck for McCaan.   Maybe he's a headcase with the revolving door of catchers. 

 

Got out of it, somehow. We'll see if he 'rights the ship' for the rest of this one.

Didn't he throw to Collins almost exclusively last year? I don't think the catcher is the issue honestly.

It looks like he is pulling the ball down and to the left from the centerfield camera, and unless his release is perfect the ball does not go where he wants

He just needs to be effective for however long he pitches. That's all you can ask. Keep us in the game. No one goes deep any more. Amazed how often I hear that. 6 innings is deep for most pitchers these days.
