Mendick needs to be up Haseley’s ass on that single. Fucking great. Get Yolbert up.

Oh awesome he can't even walk on his right leg and he's being helped off the field very slowly. This is wonderful.

Mendicks going to be on the IL for a long time. Fuck you AAAA fodder Haseley

And he probably busted something in his leg...

RIP Mendick's ACL

This is just the dumbest team in existance.

Why is this team so damn bad at communicating on fly balls?

Great, more Leury. He didn't play today so he busted out his voodoo doll

That's the left fielders ball, but no one called it

Not Mendick's ball there, and now he's hurt. Awesome.

Watching the replay it didnt appear Haseley called anyone off

How is it that we consistently have an uncoached group of players who has no fucking idea how to call anyone off or make routine plays?

I feel really bad for the guy. He finally started figuring it out at the ML levels and this happens.

That is what we get for playing an actual outfielder in LF.

This wouldn't have happened if we had a first baseman out there.

:(

Is Leury still out/unavail?

Because they need to go to Perez to shore up backup catcher or Sosa/Sanchez.

This is ALL BECAUSE THEY DON'T PRIORITIZE OF DEFENSE.

Romy the only guy on the 40 man roster to bring up until Eloy is back? Not good

When I said replacing Eloy, I didn't mean going out and causing injuries.

The last 2 plays in that inning really show a very poorly coached defensive team.

Who is in charge of defensive coaching?

Two plays in a row where Mendick should have been more vocal as the shortstop and Haseley should have been more aware. Each bears some responsibility for both plays. So dumb.

Just realizing that I'm so conditioned to expect and accept injury that I find myself almost grateful when the inevitable injury is not to a star.  Like:  "that's nothing, Robert could've broken his neck..."

That said, feel horrible for Mendick and hope it looked worse than it is.

Boston Again.  We need our own defensive specialist.  No idea what Cairo or Narron do.

Abreu #1 in RS last three years in AL…Devers #2.

The ironic thing is that Haseley might be the best defensive LFer we've fielded this year.

I blame a complete and utter lack of communication on balls hit in the air. I would be willing to bet that we lead the league in outfield collisions.
