As if this team isn't unlikable enough as they have been. He will somehow find a way to get even worse if he comes here, as most Hahn traded for players do.

I’m pro buying low on Gallo just so we never have to watch Sheets in RF ever again. Gallo can’t be any worse at the plate. If the cost is minimal, do it.

July 28, 20223 yr I would be happy with almost any decent starter(s) or reliever(s) at this point, so yes to Quintana and maybe trade for Colome or another closer type in case Hendrick has any problems and set-up guys like Kelly and Bummer continue to have arm issues. . I wish the Sox had promoted Colas and demoted Sheets after the ASB so that we could have seen if Colas could handle pitching and defense at the major league level. Probably not, but Sheets is not up to it right now so why not give the next guy up a chance?

August 1, 20223 yr Tired of seeing the reports/quotes that the Sox don't have many holes to fill when everyone is healthy. First, this team hasn't been healthy all season. Second, there are several areas that we consider holes because they should be upgraded. I'm getting nervous, though, that the Sox aren't going to do much or even anything for one reason or another. Whether they believe in the team they have, or they lowball any offers for guys who could actually improve this team. I imagine we'll start seeing some action today, and tonight into tomorrow could be interesting. Let's hope they Sox are active and end up with something more than a seat at the table.

August 1, 20223 yr Watching the Cubs Giants game last night and I saw Luis Gonzalez take away a HR with a leaping grab at the wall, and Carlos Rodon pitch a great game, two players Hahn let go for nothing in return. Even the buttoned up uniform no chains showing Yermin got a couple of AB's.

August 1, 20223 yr Hahn did say last spring when the Sox were doing nothing that they would be a better team on Opening Day than they were during the lockout, and a better team at the deadline than they were on Opening Day. So far he's 0 fer.

I’m ok with them not gutting the system if we are simply talking rentals. If they are gonna pull off a trade like that I’d rather it be in the off-season when they aren’t trying to win the division and it’s easier to supplement your moves through FA.
