  • I think this has more to do with TLR being a fucking idiot over anything else.

Making contact with the umpire and getting multiple game suspensions while trying to compete is the exact opposite of giving a fuck. It’s hurting the team around you because you care about the tantrum

I see it coming....we win just enough to create false illusion we still can sneak in playoffs, so we trade what little trading chips w have in the farm for a past his prime vet who will do nothing for

In my opinion Grandal has to start looking and getting dangerous at the plate or this team is toast.

Sox have to be one of the worst teams I’ve seen at pulling fastballs down the middle for homers

We're gonna lose tonight and maybe 2 of the next 3 and still be within 4 games of the AL Central lead. And it's gonna give Rick Hahn all the ammo he needs to do some stupid deal at the deadline.

8 pitch inning LOL

A’s four homers tonight so far.  Giving away our home field advantage once again.  Go after Gallo, we need a lefty "slugger" pretty badly.

Why is the roster considered really good?  Lots of injury prone hitters with insignificant track records and older players who are showing signs of being cooked.

I think the in their prime guys will eventually be fine, but Grandal & Lynn being washed is enough to knock ~8 wins off what we were expecting from this team anyway.

And that was the middle of the lineup. Just pathetic.

It's a terribly flawed roster and even the "good" players are way overrated.

We all know THEY ( Management) believe that can still make the playoffs and will make a couple of stupid deadline deals. Stand pat, get new management and deal during off season with trades and free agency.

I have come to a conclusion… our dicks suck.

I can't believe how bad we are at home.

Mostly because we don’t hit enough homers while our pitching is throwing many gopher balls at home. Simple Sox math.

Another bottom feeder loss at home ?

Guardians likely one GB after tonight...if current scores hold.

Might put pressure on CLE to actually add rather than subtract.

The scary thing is Grandal still knows the right pitches to swing at he just can't do damage anymore

They will stay around .500 and still be in it because Cleveland and Minnesota will not run away with the division.

Yoan looks nowhere near the electric player he was in 2019. Eloy has been a disappointment.  Robert shows flashes but needs to be way more consistent. Just too much regression, as this is the age they’re supposed to be improving and they’re going the other way.  Reminds me a bit of the last Cubs core after 2016.

I don’t get how all these teams have minimum salary relievers that are better than the high-priced Sox guys

Organizations draft and develop pitchers. The Sox are unable.

They will probably go with more relievers when our main problem is not scoring enough runs and not hitting enough homers.

Never ever give a catcher more than 2 or 3 years in his 30's.

He looks like someone who was brought back a month too soon.

There’s a reason he signed it so quickly

Lynn and Giolito starts are so demoralizing.  Not excusing the offensive ineptitude, but those guys need to be so much better and not put this anemic offense in an uphill climb so damn early.

And Hahn offered it so quickly.

Ditto Keuchel.

Well it could have been worse. We could have given Moustakas $64 million.
