And that's a Wild Pitch Winner!

I guess I'm overly optimistic but I think we still have time to come around. 1 day at a time.

Any day with a win is better.

Someone let Mark Kotsay know that Seth Brown looks a little tired and needs a day off.

Good win, tomorrow is a game you have to win based on the matchup

Cueto starts just mean wins

Light it up!

Nice to get a win on Minnie Minoso Day!

Nice reverse jinx by me and others regarding Sheets. I'm happy for him. Just cause a lot of us bury him doesn't mean we don't want him to blossom. That certainly was quite a bomb.

Also Jose haters need to give him his due. That pick at first base was marvelous whether Jose haters want to admit it or not.

50-50. Just a couple games out. It's obvious this team blows, but in this horsecrap division is anything possible?

And yes, the Sox HAD to win on Minnie Minoso Day. What an icon.

Obviously 3 games isnt the end of the world, but we really need to see some xbhs from our core, and we need to do it at home.

Nice win - but something about this team.  Usually a walk off teams are going nuts - this team just didn't look the part - especially a wild pitch walk off.

Walk off wild pitch doesn't happen often. Hitting for the walk off has more juice

Win tomorrow and get the series. Then get the next one.  As awful as so many things have gone for this team we’re still a few series wins — or one hot week — away from first place.

It’s batshit crazy.

We still suck!

This team can't hit. Seems like every game the Sox are lucky to get one hit during the first time around.  Glad for the win, but the offense still looked anemic.

That is the point - even less likely so have fun and let loose. None of that happened which is no shock given how tight and lousy they play.

I noticed when the Sox scored there was no celebration. Is there a chance they were respecting the A's catcher who looked like he was in the way? And wasn't the pitcher in the way? They didn't leave the scene right away did they?

That’s cool, but been there done that. Sell me on a ship.
