Ugh come on

High fastball and low and away sliders are deaths to a lot of hitters

Brutal AB from Vaughn

He got a day off the other day and it didn't help him

Gonna disagree with you there, Tex

I understand. He's entertaining. He's also an example of JR being too damn nostalgic. Ozzie crapped all over the team and JR blindly let's all these guys back.

Feels like the Sox are particularly vulnerable to that because so many of their hitters have bad plate discipline

Especially when they refuse to walk and don’t capitalize on hanging sliders

Ozzie's the only one who's telling it like it is.

Sox bats gone to sleep again…. 2 run lead will prolly not hold…

That play needs to be made.  A’s have middle of order coming up and Sox seem sleepy.

I've been telling you the team sucks since before we started. So he's not the only one ?

I do understand your point and I was pissed how he quit on the team.  But as you say he is entertaining and baseball is supposed to be entertainment.

Got away with a hanger there

Cease's ERA is down to 2.01

Good recovery, I would let him start the 7th

Scoreless today would have pushed him under 2 but he had to give up that home run. What a bum.

It's maddening how this same thing happens day after day after day and no changes are made.

Our pitchers are under duress 100% of time.

Meh - he’s only allowed to work one day a week.

3 runs against a pitcher with an ERA above 8.  The offense is not fixed.  They need Robert!

Today was Oller's first career quality start and he set his career high (by far) in swinging strikes. The Sox offense turns any RH pitcher with a pulse into someone good.

So happy they pulled Cease for a guy coming off an injury

Inability to add on runs is going to cost 5he Sox!
