I was wondering the same thing. I guess Cairo either never heard the expression "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", or loser TLR called Cairo and said "can you please play Harrison over Romy tonight for me". 

Lynn has been pitching great and we need one more clutch outing this afternoon, like the last 2 outings of 14 innings, 7 hits, 2 ER's 1 BB, 19 K's in only 180 pitches!

Just overthinking things. Right hander on the mound, rather go with the veteran, I guess.

But it’s September. This is the time to put your best team on the field, throw out the bats and balls and let the best team win. Right now, that is with Romy at 2B, especially after Josh tried his hardest to lose the rubber match in Seattle. Just makes no sense.

Having said that, may Josh go 3-4 and prove me wrong.

Guessing it’s just to get Romy a day. I’d prefer to see him play for sure, but it’s not a huge deal.

No way. If it was LaRussa, he would say “Can you please play Leury over Romy tonight for me.”

Damn Lance looks like he's getting bigger. He's getting Bobby Jenks big.

Call me crazy but I really believe this team (without TLR) can do some serious damage in the postseason if we can get there...Cease, Lynn, Cueto and Kopech can hang with any AL 4 starting rotation.

If Lynn is hurt it will quite possibly put the mockers on things.
