This game is not going exactly as I'd have it.

No, because I want to bring in another quality starting pitcher in case Lucas continues to pitch like a #4 guy.  But even this version of Lucas is worth a 1/$8M deal.  I don’t think you realize what bad SPs who can eat innings get in free agency.  VV got $4M guaranteed and has never been good.

He’s going to get AT LEAST $10M. I’m not an expert on arbitration and salaries but my guess is he gets between $12-14M. This version of Giolito is NOT worth that kind of money.

8th inning yet again for the 53455 time in 2 years

haven't seen Jose Ramirez not bust it down the line once this entire season

Yes, you have to throw home immediately.  Walk by Graveman created this need.  Hate reliever walks in the 8 th inning on a close game!

Graveman sucks ass.  Good thing he was signed long term .

Go Bears

It’s obvious at this point but the starting pitching (and relief pitching isn’t the issue). It’s the defense. Time and again we see it rear it’s ugly head at the most inopportune times.

What is with this need to blame one thing.  Yes, the defense sucks at multiple spots, but the offense is also pretty bad and we lack pitching depth.  We need to do much more than just shore up the defense if that’s what you’re suggesting.

Eloy now slumping after being on a massive heater.

I think you’re too high on this one, I think after this year the $9 million range is likely.

dumb f*** teams like this never go anywhere.

I might have missed part of this discussion, but is the point here that they don’t need a 5th starter because of Davis Martin?

Yup, that’s the argument.

Just saw the Andrus play. That was too funny.  What a terrible, unlikeable team.

Walks in the 8 th inning normally score on the Sox.

I think Elvis just couldn't believe his eyes, when he saw Baddoo keep going .

A little reminder next season if they start slow again....there's always the chance if you play better late in the season that the team you are chasing is the hottest team in baseball.

No way…not after this season.

Engel better not be back next year. Him being so god awful has hurt a lot this year.

Well, we know one thing is certain, Giolito will go through the arbitration process and squeeze every last dime he possibly can.

Yeah I would call myself unconvinced by that.

I could go for Martin in the 6th starter role, because very good chance he makes the rotation out of spring training because of injury. But there is desperate need for depth.

GMAB, the White Sox went to arbitration with him over like $100k because they didn’t counter offer.

Except for brief periods, he never really could hit, but you could always count on him for great center field defense . no longer, and it sucks as i've always liked the guy.

At the same time, we don’t take many walks.

Dick Hahn will sign him to a 3 year extension, watch .

The Engel Josh and Sheets spots need to be filled with quality talent and I would dfa Grandal who is crippled.
