It's because Lux has twice the amount of control and he's dirt cheap the next 2 years. Gleyber is estimated to be paid $24 million these next 2 years.

But a 30 value is insane.  Anderson is only 38 for example. Lux had an okay year last year. Prior to that he was bad.

The Mets became my NL go to last year, along with the Jays.  Might have to skip Verlander starts and watch the Phillies instead.
