  • Yes he gets hurt alot. But he can also really hit. You don’t have one of the best wRC+ in baseball as recently as half last season and not be a good hitter. He’s just in one right now.  DFAing hi

  • The depressing thing is none of it matters.  They continue on this path....they are who they are. They "blow it all up"...It's the same FO that got us into this mess They hire a new FO.

Nobody talking about it on here but Vaughn has been on base every game this year

Yep. Eloy is putting up Ozzie Guillen numbers at DH. It's close to DFA time for him.

What did they call the sweeper last season?

No idea... probably wasn't distinguished yet by cameras?

Cutter is too much like slider.

Hybrid.

That would draw too much media attention to the terrible product on the field...and the upcoming fire sale.

Oakland and KC are the only two teams in the AL with a worse record than the Sox, but I guarantee you both of those teams will win their season series with the Sox.

Oakland might be historically bad this year. I'm not sure even the Sox can lose a series to them.

Showing no mercy with Alvarado.

Getting dominated by their bullpen

Reds are proving to be better than expected as well...Pirates even with Cruz down.

I assure you they can!

Andrus below Mendoza again perfect ending...

Way too easy.

He will get a little hot which will cause him to run the bases and he will get hurt.  Everyone remembers the last two years but he was also out of the 2020 playoff series for some baserunning injury I believe.

Eloy is becoming extremely overrated.

DFAing him is a comical concept.

It's tough to score consistently without hitting HR's or drawing walks, it turns out

Same script as last season.

There are maybe 3 legit starters in this lineup. The rest is just garbage.

Bottom 3 records all have same odds of getting the #1 pick, every team in the bottom 5 is at least at 10%

finishing with the 4th or 5th worst record definitely is in play for this team

Team a total mess

They suck. The talent level is scary bad compared to what it was supposed to be.

Tigers are suddenly on fire... sweeping DH against Guardians after suddenly getting hot/catching fire last week.

CLE down two starting pitchers and scuffling on offense.

Tiny crowd. Do the fans need a ticket for Game Two or can they stay? Seriously will there be 1,000 fans in there for Game Two?

They should be nice and let the patrons from Game One remain.

I would never have thought our Sox would be this bad. Wowsie.

It’s a straight Double Header so the fans can remain.

It's probably a good thing they are holding attendance numbers for Benetti's bedtime...

Must be 75% Phillies' fans and Bryce Harper jerseys...

Hooooo Boy. This hurts.

Letting them exit would never be more merciful...
