Is he not the focal point of the toxic culture or at least a major contributor?

Yep, but he won’t be the alpha on good teams

  • Totally Agree.  If you want to "rest" him, let him DH.  Everyone can see how important he is to this offense.  He had 3 hits yesterday!  Pedro has a bad habit of resting his hottest players, thus caus

Usual suspects responsible again today, atrocious bullpen, awful fielding and laughable situational fundamental hitting.

TWICE a man on third, no out and they can't score! ?

And he's going to be ok with that?  He should be playing second with Elvis at SS but the organization coddles him.

After a loss like that, you need to meditate. ?

No, you have to forget it and take care of business in Cincy and KC and win those series.

Pitching staff gave up 2 runs through 11 innings. Offense and terrible situational hitting is to blame here. Dumbest team I’ve ever seen.

Seems like we have a lot of those, hard to believe we had all those chances to win the game and not one of those stiffs could come through with a hit.

Didn't even have to be a hit, a sacrifice fly or going the opposite way for a right hander may have brought him home.

These buffoons couldn't even do that.

They rank right up there with last season's dolts.

Really bad lineup.

Guys who shouldn't be starters:

  • Elvis Andrus
  • Gavin Sheets

Guys who shouldn't be up at this point:

  • Oscar Colas
  • Lenyn Sosa

Guys who shouldn't be in the organization:

  • Hanser Alberto
  • Darryl Boston
  • Mike Clevinger
  • Alex Colome
  • Romy Gonzalez
  • Rick Hahn
  • Sammy Peralta

Well done and accurate analysis sadly!

This is such a sad commentary on how f*#ked up Hahn has botched the rebuild, the farm system and this garbage major league roster.

Btw, I would add Grifol, Katz and all the coaches who shouldn't be in this organization.

Minnesota scored seven runs on five hits. Hmmm.

What about Robert not running to score on that double

Held up by the same dumbass coach who sent Grandal the night before.

They just can't get out of their own way from all departments on this team.

It's a culture of incompetence, dysfunction and ineptness.

Movie gif. Close up on Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. He looks around the room as if ignoring someone and rolling his eyes annoyingly. He talks into his non-existent radio on his arm and says, “There seems to be no sign of intelligent life anywhere.”

Nah.  This is just following the same blueprint for Roster Building By Ricardo Hahn.

He was held up because he jogged to second. He was jogging so hard he tricked me into thinking there weren’t two outs and defending him based on the ball might have been caught

I second that motion!

The guy is hurt, 100% you can see that.   However, even hurt, you still send him home on that play.  He would have found another gear, even in pain if it's a close play at home.  And you send him as coach knowing Moe, Larry, and Curly were up next in the order.

idk if I'd say coddles him because they don't flip him with Andrus on the infield

Yankees played Jeter at short instead of the better defender in Arod

He really has become annoying.

Listening to the radio post game...Conor McKnight seems to be doing a Chris Rongey impression being a Tim Anderson apologist. Do these radio guys have any clue how awful TA is with RISP?

No way I send him loping around like that. He was barely past second when Taylor picked up the ball

also I just wanna say how fucking ass backwards it was to send colas down instead of Sosa (yes I'm aware he was sent down but they fucking brought him back)

Wasted great pitching performance from Lucas Giotto.

Bullpen is not just horrible, but they are mentally weak and embarrassing to watch.

Grifol has no fire...."just one of those days" for the offense....they sure seem to have alot of those days
