Aka punching a wall syndrome

Let’s hope that move becomes permanent…

Pitching depth, or lack thereof, about to be tested.

Coming to a parking lot near you.

Here is the injury that epitomizes our management’s failure to provide starting pitching depth on the MLB team and in AAA. Sox have no one ready.

Best options in AAA are Fisher (who started in today’s win) and maybe Davila (who started yesterday). So neither is ready to pitch tomorrow. Yeah Sox.

No one else in AAA has earned it. Stiever has only pitched 4 innings this season. AA Birmingham has Matthew Thompson, but that would be a huge ask this early in his career.

Dumb Hahn…

Forgot about Jesse Scholtens. He is probably the call up. Already on the 40-man with 7 starts in AAA at 3.99. Era. Has already been up with Sox to pitch 3.0 innings this season.

Lambert?

He has already been overused in the early season and MIGHT be able to go 2 innings max...but then you're still probably better off going with a minor leaguer who could be sacrificed to preserve the pen and perhaps give you 3-4 innings instead.

Tough call, either way.

Boom!

The thing that sucks is that we're only 2 games behind the Guardians now...but it seems like we're already gifting them a win (to gain back some needed momentum for CLE) after getting creamed by the Mets.

Have to hope the hitters can take down Gaddis and keep things relatively close until the late innings.

Sun-Time story said he was seen with his right hand in a brace. No other details as to how it happened or what caused it or if he was dealing with this for awhile.

James Fegan is the one White Sox reporter worth following.

I think it's time to break the streak of right handers starting(which is at what 165 straight games?) and use Crochett as an opener.

With Kopech going 8 the other day, the pen isn't too taxed.

I can’t understand why we have folks making negative posts about Clevinger. I think he has done a pretty good job and hopefully this wrist issue resolves quickly

The majority of teams in baseball are now on their 7th and 8th starters already.

The Dodgers' AA and AAA teams might have more starting pitching talent and depth than the Twins Sox Royals and Tigers combined together.

Bryan SHaw could probably go 4 innings in his sleep.

It would be nice to give him the motivation against his former team to go out and win a spot on the roster...at least temporarily...as the long man.

Don't really have that defined swing man in the pen right now.

He's been in 7 games in Charlotte 6.2 IP, 0 R, 0 hits ,6K, 3 BB

SO he's not exactly stretched out but he's Bryan Shaw.

Sox might not want to give up another player to get him on the 40 but then again Charlotte and other levels are filled with disposable players .
