Transitioning media types into actual jobs hasn't been working too well recently in other areas.

Perhaps Getz could find some inspiration by quickly viewing.🙂 I can see the Sox converting one of these catchers into a first baseman to be sure. That movie was funny because they make it seem like the path to victory is through taking a walk...only the A's had the best rotation in baseball, I don't think they even mentioned pitching in that movie. how about moneyball except it's about giving good players lots of "money" to hit the "ball". Yes, at that time it was Tim Hudson, Barry Zito and Mark Mulder. Three aces. And they pretty much were in the movie for about 1/10th the amount of time as Scott Hatteberg or Chad Bradford, lol.

The closer had a storyline in the movie.

chitownsportsfan
Vaughn in a heated race for worst player in baseball so far. -.6 fWAR is impressive in 20 odd games. 2
GreenSox
Chad Bradford, the steal of the century... a whole 10 career WAR. How could Williams let that fine middle reliever go for a catching prospect. A heist it was, as Olivo only had 8 career WAR. I like analytics, and KW made some goofy moves, but the harangue over Chad Bradford in that book along with the beat-down of KW because of that trade, was ridiculous. 1

And Kenny still has one more World Series victory than Billy Beane. Maybe they can put that in the sequel. 1
2Deep
What I would do to have PRIME 2005 & 2006 Kenny Williams as the GM right now. Kenny sucked at manny things but he at least gave a crap and tried........and also got Jerry to spend some money

The Sox are always rebuilding so they will always be expected to suck. What a genius idea for job security but it only works if your boss is the worst owner in baseball who doesn’t care about winning.

Their pitching failed them.
