I really can’t stand how the broadcast team is going to push Maldonado down our throats, almost feels insulting to the fanbase to think we can’t tell he’s over the hill.

He was going to be successful no matter what, the dude is just good and we have a lot of auto outs in the lineup.

Skubal is basically all fastball right now. Change is hit or miss and his slider is bad. So of course we got nothin' so far.

He had no idea what to do with the slider and they threw him a fastball in the zone. Just dumb.

I wish people would stop booing such an awful player. It somehow gives him motivation he does not have for the entire rest of the year.

Feels like that run is on Maldonado. First for calling 0-2 fastball, then for not even catching the ball to let Baez take 2nd. 

Glad we signed a veteran presence in Martin Maldonado, to replace and be even worse than the previous veteran presence catcher.

Baez is definitely one of those players that feeds off negativity.
